Self-healing Cementitious Crystalline Waterproofing and Protective Coating for Concrete
SUPERSHIELD MULTIGUARD is a high-performance single-component, cementitious crystalline waterproofing and protective coating powered by MULTISEAL Crystalline Technology for both new and existing concrete structures. It combines SHIELD® Adaptive Crystals with a hydrophobic molecular barrier within pores and capillaries and the ThermoHydric® regulators within the concrete matrix. When applied, the coating penetrates concrete pores and capillaries, activates crystalline formation along with ThermoHydric® regulation within the concrete matrix. As the coating dries, it reacts with atmospheric carbon dioxide to form a protective repellent surface barrier that prevents water penetration through capillaries. Deep within the substrate, SHIELD® Adaptive Crystals continue to dynamically respond to environmental changes and periodic wet–dry cycles, ensuring enahnced performance and durability for long-term concrete protection .
